Design Daze: June Events 2026

Design Daze Out: June Events 2026

No June gloom for us. We’ll be too busy for it. The first month of summer arrives with a sense of momentum, where discovery, science, and design overlap, reminding us that exploration and experimentation is a necessity. It's time to get out from behind the computer and jump into the headspace of future focused thinking - what’s emerging, what’s evolving, and what might define the culture next.

SXSW London

SXSW London values lie in the cross-pollination of music, film, startups, fashion, and new media. This overlap reveals shifts in language, aesthetics, and behaviour before they surface in briefs. With so much going on and everything happening at once here, it can be overwhelming, but overall, what an amazing opportunity to learn new things.

Art After Dark

Shifting the museum experience into something more atmospheric and immediate, this event is a useful reminder that context can fundamentally change perspective, turning familiar visual language into something newly felt, interpreted, and remembered. Among the many galleries participating, the West End’s HOP! will be free and promises an inspiring and fun evening.

London Architecture Festival

1-30 June various locations throughout London
This event offers a window to how architecture communicates, using space, material and structure to tell the stories and philosophies. Across installations, talks, and public exhibitions, the event highlights how narratives are embedded into physical space. This makes a valuable reference point for thinking about how brands operate not just as visuals, but as environments people move through and remember.

Taste of London

We are drawn to the Taste of London because it turns food into a living study of culture and presentation. Flavour, storytelling, and aesthetics operate as one experience. It offers a chance to observe how taste trends are formed. For all of us working in the field of design, it’s a reminder that desire can be built through multi-sensory detail. Five days with all of London’s top restaurants? We’re hungry already.

17-21 June
Regent’s Park, London

Kensington Great Exhibitions

The Kensington Great Exhibition is definitely something we won’t be missing. It shows us a rare window into how imagination ignites innovation and culture. Featuring hands-on workshops, talks, performances, and installations, this very science-forward event is a great place for adults or kids looking for a fun day. It’s a modern-day inquiry on the streets.
